ALMIGHTY God, full of mercy: by your great goodness, we ask that you keep us from everything that may hurt us; so that we, who are ready both in body and soul, may do those things that you command with joy; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

BIBLE STORY
****Matthew 22:1****

Jesus also told them other parables. He said, “The Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a king who prepared a great wedding feast for his son. When the banquet was ready, he sent his servants to notify those who were invited. But they all refused to come! “So he sent other servants to tell them, ‘The feast has been prepared. The bulls and fattened cattle have been killed, and everything is ready. Come to the banquet!’ But the guests he had invited ignored them and went their own way, one to his farm, another to his business. Others seized his messengers and insulted them and killed them.

“The king was furious, and he sent out his army to destroy the murderers and burn their town. And he said to his servants, ‘The wedding feast is ready, and the guests I invited aren’t worthy of the honor. Now go out to the street corners and invite everyone you see.’ So the servants brought in everyone they could find, good and bad alike, and the banquet hall was filled with guests.

“But when the king came in to meet the guests, he noticed a man who wasn’t wearing the proper clothes for a wedding. ‘Friend,’ he asked, ‘how is it that you are here without wedding clothes?’ But the man had no reply. Then the king said to his aides, ‘Bind his hands and feet and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

LESSON
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Grace and Peace be with you Christ's Soldier!

Today's bible story is another parable. It teaches us about heaven. In the story, there is a great lord who has a feast. He invites some guests, but they would not come. So you know what he did? He sent his servants out to get people off the street. They were invited to come in.

Now one of the things they guest had to wear was a wedding garment. These were special clothes for the celebration. It would be like in the Army. Everybody wears a uniform for a big parade. What do you think would happen if someone came in their pajamas! Well the commander would make them go away. They could not march in the soldier's parade in pajamas. Well it is like that in heaven too. When we get to heaven, we have to have on a certain wedding garment. You see, the Church is the bride of Christ. We will have a big feast that will last forever. Everyone who comes has to "put on the Lord Jesus Christ". God will look into the hearts of everyone. He will see if someone does not have a faith in Jesus as their Lord. Those people will not be allowed to stay in heaven. They will be put out, because they don't believe in Jesus.

It is important that we don't forget this. It is important to tell your friends. If you want to go to heaven, you must love Jesus, and do what he asks. That is the truth. If you just think about Jesus, but don't love him and believe on him, you won't go to heaven. You won't be in the wedding party.

So long legionary. Keep the faith in Jesus, and put on your armor to fight against evil. May God bless you, all your family, and your friends with a perfect belief in Jesus!
